capplets: remember last tab usedHi folks
Using multi-tab capplets, I constantly find slightly inconvenient choosing the same tab again and again. Would it make sense to remember the last state of the capplet - at least, the last tab the user was working with? Re: capplets: remember last tab usedThe capplets to be updated ("remember last tab used")
- appearance - default apps - keyboard - mouse - network (?) IMHO it does not make sense to update about-me. The tab number will be saved into gconf entry /apps/control-center/<capplet name>/last_open_tab Any comments/objections? I'm curious. Does that really make a difference? I mean, outside of development work I open capplets... about once or twice a month. And it's unlikely I want to change the same thing again, then. You must be using stuff in a vastly different manner. Re: capplets: remember last tab usedWell, this is definitely not a huge improvement. It is just when a
person is playing with 1-2 particular settings, he must be interested in getting there faster. Would it make things worse for all other people?
