Hi,

I'm just getting started with Berkeley XMLDB. I have it up and
running, but I noticed that the searches are case-sensitive. Is
there a command in the configuration I can change to make it
case-insensitive, or is it something I have to take care of in my
  xquery?

  Thanks,

This is something you can do in your queries using the lower-case() or
upper-case() functions. I believe you have had a question on this
answered on the xquery-talk mailing list.

DB XML can not currently use indexes to optimize case insensitive matching.
