It would help if you could post your child's pom file to find a solution to
your problem.
-> don't forget to add the <parent> part in your submodule's pom.
take care with eclipse, as eclipse is not 100% relying on the pom to build the
classpath, if you manually add entries to the project classpath they will not be
available in maven itself.
