citrix receiver 11 no client audio

Hello,

installed Packages:
base 9.9.9-0.4.5-7
ica-client-11 0.4.5-11.0-1
initscripts-tcos 0.4.5-11

Problem:
In ICA session (citrix client 10 an receiver 11) i have no audio output although in manager it is configured as "High Quality" (same with low and medium quality).
I missing an option to explicit enable audio output. only Options for audio quality are present.
Whats the problem here? has anyone same problems with ica client audio mapping?

Note! In a RDP session audio is working perfectly!

Hello again,

perhaps, this problem has to do with ALSAand OSS (missing alsa-oss package & config in OTC)?
And i think the Citrix Receiver lacks ALSA features - it's programmed to use OSS?!

Any ideas?

could you please test if the problem still exists in the "unstable"
version. This should be fixed by now according to

thanks for your quick answer!
I'm using the following Packages: (unstable and experimental feeds enabled)

installed Packages:
base 9.9.9-0.4.5-7
ica-client-11 0.4.5-11.0-1
initscripts-tcos 0.4.5-11

The Problem still exist or i have any other Problems?!
- Videoplayback is still good but no audio.
- If i playing an MP3 the MediaPlayer says "problems with audiodevice, possibly no audiodevice installed"
- on the local-Linux-Desktop and in RDP sessions (rdesktop 0.4.5-1.6.0-1) video/-audioplayback is ok!
- on my Windows ThinClients Citrix Audio is ok! My CITRIX Farm and App- Settings also the Citrix Policies are ok and Sound is enabled for all Clients!

I've deleted the ica Package (deleted chache too) and reinstalled the ica-client-11 0.4.5-11.0-1 Package, but no success...

hi edvler,

you where absolutely right:
"/dev/dsp" was missing in experimental. installing "oss-compat" did the trick!
please update the base package to 9.9.9-0.4.5-9 (released today).

this morning i've installed the base package 9.9.9-0.4.5-8 - now it works!
