clear all command causes segmentation fault

Hello
I use the octave 3.0.1 version on Ubuntu 9.04 Linux with kernel 2.6.28.16 platform and while when I write the command

clear all

the octave gives a segmentation fault in terminal.

octave:2> clear all
panic: Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to `octave-core'...
save to `octave-core' complete
Segmentation fault
 
Although when one writes the simplest command

clear

everything works fine
