cm-sbcl

After updating to latest clm/sbcl I get the following error when trying to
start list in emacs
file /usr/lib/sbcl/cm/cm-load.fasl" {A909539}> is a
fasl file compiled with SBCL 1.0.22, and can't be loaded into SBCL
1.0.30

I presume the file needs to be regenerated somehow. Anyone?

thanks
Oded

RT kernel

Is this anything to get "excited" about?

http://linux.slashdot.org/story/09/10/20/137241/Deadline-Scheduling-Proposed-For-the-Linux-Kernel

I posted a while back saying the RT kernel doesn't work on my Macbook
Pro, and people thought it was because of Fedora NVIDIA patches clashing
with the RT patches.

Incidentally, do we expect this to get better on F12? Have said patches
been shoved upstream?

That's an ongoing problem with the ancient cm that is part of Planet
CCRMA (for historical reasons and lack of time). The Fomus extension is
not building correctly on newer sbcl's. I'll give it another try,
otherwise I think I will disable it and will not create that
subpackage.
