Hello

I am emailing this list as advised on http://cobertura.sourceforge.net/faq.html, hope it’s the right place for a question.

I have used cobertura (v 1.9.3)to instrument an .ear file, and then try to deploy the ear in glassfish, however I get the following error when I try to deploy it:

[#|2009-10-08T19:59:27.753-0700|SEVERE|sun-appserver9.1|javax.enterprise.system.tools.deployment|_ThreadID=16;_ThreadName=Timer-11;Error loading deployment descriptors for module [SODAServer] -- Invalid ejb jar [SODAServer-ejb.jar]: it contains zero ejb.

Note:

1. A valid ejb jar requires at least one session, entity (1.x/2.x style), or message driven bean.

2. EJB3+ entity beans (@Entity) are POJOs and please package them as library jar.

3. If the jar file contains valid EJBs which are annotated with EJB component level annotations (@Stateless, @Stateful, @MessageDriven), please check server.log to see whether the annotations were processed properly.

Is this a known issue?  Has anyone ever deployed an instrumented ear in glassfish before?

I’m pretty sure I’m instrumenting my ear correctly.  The instrumented version is 49140KB while the original version is 48,895KB so it looks like some tracing must have been added to my classes.

Any help would be very appreciated.  Thank you,
