Hello,

I am new to the image domain, Geo Server, netCDF etc. I would appreciate if someone can help me with some basic questions. As I am new to this area; my questions may not be meaningful. I am trying to design a system and my questions are as follows:

1) The netCDF files will be placed on a ftp server.
I am planning that OPenDAP will extract the required netCDF and provide it to geserver.
The geoserver will process the netCDF and generate the required images.
I am thinking of using open source softwares in the following manner
Tomcat --> Geo Server --> OPeNDAP --> netCDF (on FTP server).
Is it feasible ?

2) If the option 1) is feasible, are there examples available for this ?

Regards,
Amar
