hi,
i have need to build t2 for beagle board.
The option
[ ] Generate code using the 16bit thumb instruction set

       
must be enabled???

No, just enable cortex-a8.

If that option does any good or even produces broken binaries
I do not know off hand.

PS: While we are at it, I spent quite some time the last days and
today to find out that current binutils is broken for ARM. If
you build for ARM on trunk you get segfaulting binaries.

Revert binutils back to the state of end of last year until I find
a proper fix:

 svn up -r {2008-11-30} package/base/binutils/

This fixes binutils to create segfaulting (read defect) binaries for
ARM.
