contact? opensync Linux vs Nokia

Hello,

I had some problems finding a contact to the opensync project as the
mailing list access is only inside the developers section.

My goal is to synchronise my Nokia E75 mobile phone with Mozilla
Lighting on Ubuntu 10.10 via USB. I simply do not know where to start as
the "Getting started" section is empty when it comes to configuration.

I am an engineer and if it helps I am willing to try things out.
Furthermore I could write down my installation experience if it is of
value for anyone.

Best regards
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

You can find the latest opensync libraries in git.  See the "forks"
listed here, at the bottom of the page:

        http://repo.or.cz/w/opensync.git

There is a binary-meta project listed there which makes building binary
packages for the libraries and some of the plugins easier.

        http://repo.or.cz/w/opensync/binary-meta.git

See the README inside that project for more information on how to build.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Nokia device, or a syncml device, so
you'll have to track down the appropriate plugin yourself from SVN, here:

        http://svn.opensync.org/plugins/

As for Mozilla, see:

        http://www.opensync.org/wiki/plugins/mozilla
