contract manufacturers in Portland OR area?

Does anyone have any personal recommendations they can make for a
contract manufacturer in the Portland, Oregon(US) area?

This is for turnkey PC board assemblies in small (100 to 500) quantities
from Gerbers and an Excel BOM on an ongoing basis. No testing or
programming required.

Bonus points if they make cables too.

Thanks!

-Bob

Some one I know uses this outfit:
http://www.screamingcircuits.com/

and they have gone back for at least one or two more times so I think
they are satisfied.  It was for a project that was not particularly cost
sensitive so I don't know what their pricing is like.

Screaming circuits = $$$$

I've met with them, and they are in the business of rapid prototyping, and not a small run production house.  I'm guessing that Bellingham Wa is too far for you tho.

Thanks for that, I should have been clearer and more descriptive in my
original post.

Actually anywhere in the west is probably OK since it's the same time
zone and restricting it to just Portland is way too restrictive.

You hit the nail on the head with regards to rapid prototyping versus
small run production. This is definitely small run production. Six weeks
turnaround is fine.

Cheerful regards,

Bob

You know, I thought they were in Bellingham also but their website says:
        Headquarters
        1140 NW Third Avenue
        Canby, Oregon 97013-3441
so I don't know which is right...

Bob,

Give these guys a call:

Tate Technology
http://www.tatetech.com/

They're in Spokane, Washington. I used to live there and know the owner (Lee
Tate) personally. Our company used them for several years, for small runs
(from 100 to 1000 boards) and were very happy with the results.

Best regards,

Vitaliy
