A *.inp file doesn't contain any solid geometry -- just nodes and
elements. If you want to vary your geometry parametrically, then you'd
need to define (potentially all) the nodal coordinates as functions of
parameters. For a non-trivial geometry this probably isn't possible or
practical. If you're varying something other than geometry (e.g.,
loads, material properties, etc.) then this can be done using the
standard *PARAMETERS interface. If you want to script things, then use
Python to generate the parameter values, write the *PARAMETER
definitions to a file, and reference this file in your *.inp file using
*INCLUDE.
