cookbook - CI serversHi all,
I think it would be nice if there were some information in the cookbook regarding the usage of Gradle with the most popular CI servers. I know some of you are doing this all the time, so I'd like to ask you to: a) fill the slots I prepared in the Cookbook (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GRADLE/Cookbook#Cookbook-CIservers) or b) reply to this email and I will take care of putting it into the Cookbook What I'd like to have, is an information on the cooperation of Gradle with the CI servers. Provided that I have a project build with Gradle, will CI server be able to build it ? Does it work out-of-the-box ? If not, what plugins were used ? Do you know about the plans of CI servers to support Gradle out-of-the-box ? Please provide detailed information, links to plugins, versions of servers and any other information that you recognize as important. Thank you in advance. -- best regards Tomek Kaczanowski http://kaczanowscy.pl/tomek --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email |

Re: cookbook - CI serversTomek, thanks for starting the cookbook - this will be very useful.
A few minor notes: I think, perhaps, that it might need to be moved. Currently it is a child of the "How to build the documentation" entry. I'm not sure this makes sense. There are also some other "cookbook" type entries under the User Guide entry - at least there are several examples there. It would be nice if the cookbook could be alongside or perhaps incorporate these. I didn't even noticed there is such thing as "logical" structure - I cared only about the URL. Ok, moved to "User guide". If you think there is a better place for this feel free to move it once again. > There are also some other "cookbook" type entries under the User Guide entry > - at least there are several examples there. In fact, there is still plenty of stuff that IMHO should be included in the Cookbook. We will get there - step by step. Hopefully at some point more people will join me, cause obviously I lack time & skill to handle it all by myself. -- best regards Tomek Kaczanowski http://kaczanowscy.pl/tomek > Tomek Kaczanowski wrote: >> >> Hi all, >> >> I think it would be nice if there were some information in the >> cookbook regarding the usage of Gradle with the most popular CI >> servers. Re: cookbook - CI serversHi Tomek,
I have added the Cookbook to the sidebar menu of the Gradle website. - Hans -- Hans Dockter Gradle Project Manager http://www.gradle.org On Sep 15, 2009, at 11:44 PM, Tomek Kaczanowski wrote: > Hi Steve, > >> I think, perhaps, that it might need to be moved.
