coreutils 6.9-3 fails test on 10.6 64 bit

I just bootstrapped a 64 bit fink on a clean install of
10.6.1 (apple's X11, latest xcode 3.2.1, on a macpro booted
64bit with case-sensitive file system), and am trying to
install core-utils[-default].  It fails a test:

PASS: test-diag
tty-eof: tee didn't exit after ^D from standard input
FAIL: tty-eof

1 of 42 tests failed
(4 tests were not run)
Please report to bug-coreutils@...

make[3]: *** [check-TESTS] Error 1
make[2]: *** [check-am] Error 2
make[1]: *** [check-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1
### execution of /var/tmp/tmp.1.dewWDE failed, exit code 2

This and labgtk are the only two problems I've hit so far.
The rest of my "must haves" are installed now: kudos and
huge thanks to all!
