Hullo All,

I have built hugin svn 4702 to do a tad more testing.

I tried it on a project that previously had been a real sod, and
normally had to be bludgeoned into submission.
Previously, the initial alignment, using auto generated control
points, would be very poor (mean error 207, max 4129), with spurious
control points between photos 1 and 5 (each end of the pano). The
initial preview would show photos scattered all over the place at
strange angles of rotation. It required quite a lot of work to get a
good result.

Using svn 4702 with 'Assistant' preferences set to 'Remove outlying
control points by statistical method', it simply works. The initial
alignment is very good, mean error 1.0, and max 2.9. Wonderful.

This feature is going to make life much better for the ordinary user.

Cheers,
Terry
