You'll be asked if you've read the mailing-list protocoll and noticed that attachments are stripped. Note:I'm not suggesting that you won't get help. > > Rehards, > > Jean-FranC'ois > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of 1.JPG] > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of 2.JPG] > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of 3.JPG] > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of 4.JPG] > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of 5.JPG] |

Don't waste people's time. As the asker of the question, expect to spend AT LEAST as much time (and more likely, many times as much time) investigating and describing your problem as you expect others to spend helping you for free. This applies to your other thread you have started...and from memory, the ones you have started in the past, too. Re: crash after first bootHi Nick,
More questions from me within you mail. I noticed some picts sent via this mail list so I did'nt expect that those would be removed, thought I asked and tried to see what happens. However what importance ? why insisting on this ? > > Files are available as an archive file on my server at > > > > www.jean-francois-simon.com/jean-francois/files/arch.tar.gz > > and the number of developers who are going to think that your > totally undescribed crash non-report is interesting enough to > download and look at pictures is close to zero. I understand and tried to solve it another way but could'nt. Please help me to get all those informations out from console with another way since I didn't find out. > Don't waste people's time. As of today, I ready and try to understand from the manual faq and others, forums, mailing list history, before I write to the list. This issue, I have tried to solve for weeks. To my understanding, I have here probably a sum of two or more problems that leads to finally have a system that crash rather than works. > Nick. > > > > > Le jeudi 09 juillet 2009 C 09:35 +1000, Aaron Mason a C)crit : > >> Jean-FranC'ois, > >> > >> The mailing list removed your attachments. Re: crash after first bootNick,
Please let me write the basics. Le jeudi 09 juillet 2009 C 07:13 -0400, Nick Holland a C)crit : > you have been on this list for quite some time, kinda odd that > you haven't noticed attachments being stripped. Also kinda odd > that you haven't noticed the lack of photos being sent on the > list. As you could have thought, this mailing list is'nt forwarding the attachments because of many facts I would'nt describe here. If you had to send files, just send the link and attach them somewhere on sharing servers. > and the number of developers who are going to think that your > totally undescribed crash non-report is interesting enough to > download and look at pictures is close to zero. However, in this case, let's proceed another way. You are going to send us a full report within your mail rather than "printscreens" which will make it easier for us to help you. > Don't waste people's time. As the asker of the question, expect > to spend AT LEAST as much time (and more likely, many times as > much time) investigating and describing your problem as you > expect others to spend helping you for free. Give a complete description of you hardware and how the problems occurs, summurize it clearly, writes within the mail the crash report. > This applies to your other thread you have started...and from > memory, the ones you have started in the past, too. In the future, always have this kind of appraoch which is the only way you could ask for our help in an efficient way for everyone. > Nick. > > > > > Le jeudi 09 juillet 2009 C 09:35 +1000, Aaron Mason a C)crit : > >> Jean-FranC'ois, > >> > >> The mailing list removed your attachments. Re: crash after first bootFinally this is due to a subtle disk failure.
While other systems could install and work, OpenBSD crashes at first boot, which is in my sense a more sane behaviour. 2009/7/9 neal hogan <neal@...> > On Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 12:12:49AM +0200, jean-francois wrote: > > Hi, > > > > In the correct order of what happens from 1 to 5 please see attached the > > crash report. > > > > Thanks for a help of any kind. > > Along the same lines as my response to your earlier post . . . > > You'll be asked if you've read the mailing-list protocoll and noticed that > attachments are stripped. > > Note:I'm not suggesting that you won't get help. > > > > > Rehards, > > > > Jean-FranC'ois > > > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name > of 1.JPG] > > > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name > of 2.JPG] > > > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name > of 3.JPG] > > > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name > of 4.JPG] > > > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name > of 5.JPG] |
