creation of individual blogs

Hi,
                is it possible for users to create individual blogs from
admin interface without logging in to admin interface beacuse if you have
access to default admin interface you have all permissions.is it possible
for users to create their own blogs at the same time not have access to
default admin interface.is there any way to achieve this .i want users to
create their own blogs but not have permissions to view other blog
permissions or  edit other blog entries.i tried creating a new blog from
admin console but the blog you create comes with default permissions
(all_permissions_permission)which cannot be changed.hence this new blog
user can easily delete other blogs:( .so whats the alternative?

Go to the admin interface, login, "Weblog settings" > "Permissions".

There, you can add permissions from the link above separated by a comma.

Also, you can do that (and many of the blojsom properties) by editing right in the mysql blojsom database. (In case you have blojsom 3.x)

Hi,
               when i create a blog it has default permission
like(all_permissions_permission).then i want to chnage it so that the users
of this blog admin interface can only add blogs in to the system.so i go to
weblog settings-> permission-> add permissions-> and add permission :
-add_blog_permission .now i want to delete the permission
->all_permissions_permission.so i do delete permission
->all_permissions_permission.BUT THE PERMISSION IS NOT DELETING .THE OUTPUT
SAYS

Status: No permission specified to add

why is this???

I do not know. Are you doing this with a full permission user against another user?

You can always try to edit the mysql tables by hand, you have the DBUserMetadata table waiting to be edited. :)

Try to remove the row with metadata key = 'all_permissions_permission' for you desired user id.
