Hi,

I'm trying to cross compile Apache Runtime version 1.3.8 for mingw32,
from source in the following way.

./configure --host=i686-pc-mingw32

However, the above line breaks with the following error

checking whether size_t and unsigned long are the same... no checking
size of ssize_t... 4 checking which format to use for apr_ssize_t... %ld
checking size of size_t... 4 checking which format to use for
apr_size_t... %u checking size of off_t... 4 checking which type to use
for apr_off_t... configure: error: could not determine the size of off_t

I'm using the follow packages

mingw32-gcc-objc-4.4.0-0.7.fc11.i586
mingw32-gcc-c++-4.4.0-0.7.fc11.i586
mingw32-iconv-1.12-9.fc11.noarch
mingw32-binutils-2.19.1-4.fc11.i586
mingw32-cpp-4.4.0-0.7.fc11.i586
mingw32-gcc-4.4.0-0.7.fc11.i586
mingw32-cppunit-1.12.1-2.fc11.noarch
mingw32-runtime-3.15.2-3.fc11.noarch
mingw32-expat-2.0.1-4.fc11.noarch
mingw32-gcc-objc++-4.4.0-0.7.fc11.i586

Clearly I'd love a solution, however I think firstly I'd really just
appreciate wiser people helping to figure out if this is issue with apr
or ming32-gcc libs. Any other assistances would greatly helpful

Thanks in advance & Regards,
