csLADSPA on UbuntustudioHello,
I've just managed to get my sound card working on Ubuntustudio and am happy to discover that csound64 comes reinstalled! All I need now is to know how and where to install csLADSPA? I can't seem to find the location of ladspa plug-ins. Thanks Peiman Send bugs reports to this list. To unsubscribe, send email sympa@... with body "unsubscribe csound" |

Re: csLADSPA on UbuntustudioHi,
You can put it anywhere and set the LADSPA_PATH environment library to that location. The default location is /usr/lib/ladspa You can install csladspa from the pacakge repositories, which is probably recommended and should put it in the right place. Then you can set LADSPA_PATH and put your csds there. (you can set it using export in the /etc/profile file). Re: csLADSPA on UbuntustudioI noticed a 32 bit version is there an advantage over artistx (ubuntu)? I would want to look for the vmware version if there is.

Re: csLADSPA on UbuntustudioThe package csladspa should contain the plugin in /usr/lib/ladspa

Re: Re: csLADSPA on UbuntustudioThanks very much Andrés for the explanation. I'm going to try that as
soon as I have fixed the black-screen syndrome that I encountered today after booting up!
