custom field with client branches

Hello Nathan,

I would like to create a custom field similar to that used for invoice projectmanager, but only to relate each project to a client (already done) and a client branch. For while client branch it will not be used in other places, but is an important information. Can you explain me if is possible and how can I create this?

I tried custom field named client_branch_id and type AR. It seems to work ok.
Is it correct?

That is correct, but you'll notice you may also get clients and  
invoices in the list when you search.
pERP can tell them apart internally, but users may get confused an  
accidentally mix them.
eGW only allows one custom field of this type per app, so there is no  
way around that.
You should be able to prefix your search with 'CB-' to only get client  
branches.

ex: CB-Mat
to find client branches that start with 'Mat'

I tried to search using "CB-" and perp not found my client branches. What can we do?

Use more.
ex: CB-Apo will find client branches Apollo, Apologetix, Apocoliptics
CB- will search for 'CB'
