daisy editor problem with IE8 (+ jira problem)

Hello,

the daisy editor seems to have a problem with editing tables in IE8.
You can create a table, but adding/removing rows or columns doesn't work
*unless* you select some text in a table cell (so just placing the
cursor in the cell is not sufficient).
Also: the little handles on the cell don't appear in IE8, so you have to
use the buttons in the menu bar.
I tested this with daisy 2.1 and 2.3 and with IE8 on both windows vista
and XP.

I wanted to create an issue on your issue tracker, but there appears to
be something wrong with it: you can browse the project but clicking on
an issue results in a "system error" with a stacktrace.

Wkr,
Jeroen

Jira does that from time to time.  I'm restarting it now.
