dd-wrt and asterisk via optware

Hi,

I've got an asus wl500-gv2p 32m ram, 8m flash, 8g usb that I'm working on.  I've installed asterisk and was sorta following this guide:

http://www.fivn.com/products/asterisk.html

and noticed that the file:

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/nslu2-asterisk/files/config_unslung/asterisk_1_2_sample_slug_config.tar.gz

is missing.  I mean, the file is there when I look on the web interface of the group but I can't seem to download anything that 7zip or gunzip/tar seem happy with.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan

Transfer the file to your Asus router (preferably in a temporary directory) and execute:

tar -zxvf asterisk_1_2_sample_slug_config.tar.gz

This samples are old (for asterisk 1.2) and from optware you probably got a newer version of asterisk (1.4 or 1.6).

Some of the commands functions changed, but you can use it as an example of how to configure *.

On the twiki you can find updated versions (for * 1.4) of the macros used in this sample. See "Useful dialplan macros" section on this page:

http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Optware/Asterisk?from=Unslung.Asterisk

Cheers,
Corneliu
