debian/Ubuntu repositoryI'll be the first to say that I have absolutely no clue on how to go about this, but I have a an IP address and several domains that could be used to host a repository or PPA or whatever it's called and would set aside the time needed to maintain this. I'd probably need some heavy coaching if I have to do any heavy lifting in the scripting department if it gets beyond korn shell scripts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fulfilling the Lean Software Promise Lean software platforms are now widely adopted and the benefits have been demonstrated beyond question. Re: debian/Ubuntu repositoryI have Ubuntu, webmin and medibuntu repositories locally, I just haven't figured out the key creation thing yet.
I'm still doing mirrors. I was just reading http://ianlawrence.info/random-stuff/setting-up-a-personal-debian-repository but it's a little dated. I'll start reading your link. Any pointers anyone has will really be appreciated! My gallery 3 packages are available at http://people.debian.org/~schultmc/debian/ - I'm using mini-dinstall to configure the repository. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WhatsUp Gold - Download Free Network Management Software The most intuitive, comprehensive, and cost-effective network management toolset available today.
