I'm closing this report, as I see no reason to keep it open.

Kuickshow is using some libraries that the debian security team won't support
any longer, so basically until kuickshow is changed to not use imlib1, it
should not be in debian.

I see no movement towards getting kuickshow to work without imlib, rather the
opposite.

Disk problem might have occurred some time earlier or recovery failed after
unclean shut down. Anyway, file system issues have nothing to do with the
package.

(input/output) error (Error de entrada/salida in spanish)? Nothing
strange in system logs, I am behind a firewall and, except nVidia legacy
drivers, no software installed apart from debian testing. By the way, no
disk errors in system log either.

Hello,

same here. With the xine backend I can play all my music in amarok2, but with
the gstreamer-backend it doesn't play anything.

With Banshee(GTK+), which use gstreamer as decoder, I can play all my music
without a problem. So it's not a missing codec problem.

i had no chance but to let kaboom run its course -- i needed acces to my
computer.
but, as pointed out before, kaboom has been installed since september at
least and never came up like that before.

what has triggered kaboom all of a sudden -- and why does X crash the

I switch tabs, sometimes it will overwrite the URL in the tab I'm switching to
with the URL of the previous tab. I have no idea why this happens, but to
reproduce, I open Konqueror, go to a site, say, Debian's. Then open a new tab,
type in a random string, click away auto-complete if it popped up, and switch
to the Debian tab. It should overwrite the URL with that string.

If I'd typed in a link, gone to it and then switched tabs, it doesn't occur.

For some reason I had libical0 version 4:2.2.1-1 installed which does
not seem to exist anymore. I've 'downgraded' to the other implementation
with version 0.44-1 and now it works. Might this be a dependency issue?

Wouter: I think this is a wishlist bug, so I forwarded it upstream as a
wishlist bug.
I'll keep this bug as normal thought (some other more experienced maintainer

Hi,

I am currently at a customer where the security policy does not allow me
to simultaneously connect my laptop to the Internet and the local LAN.
However, there is a Windows Terminal server with a web browser that I
can use in case I need to browse the Internet while connected to the
LAN.

This server is configured so that if the session has been idle for more
than a certain amount of time, the connection is dropped, server-side.

In itself, that's not a problem.

However, it becomes a problem because this usually happens when krdc is
on a different virtual desktop (otherwise I would've seen the warning
that the server sends out two minutes prior to disconnecting), and upon
disconnect krdc unmaps the full-screen window, and remaps a
non-fullscreen but maximized window right after that, unconditionally.
This remap causes it to be shown on the then-active virtual desktop,
interrupting any work that I may be doing at that time.

The fix to this is easy: rather than unmapping the normal window when
going full-screen, it should be brought to the background. This way,
when the full-screen window is removed, the maximized window does not
need to be created, and will remain on the other virtual desktop.

KDE 4.3.2 is still not fully in testing (being held up by **** gnome). KDE
4.3.4 will be released in a week so I guess KDE 4.3.3 in debian will not
happen.

When will KDE 4.3.3 get uploaded? I just ask because I'm facing some
annoying crash bugs in plasma-desktop that occur very frequently, and I'd
like to test whether they are gone or at least occur less frequently.
