desktop icons not movingAnyone seen a case where you couldn't move your desktop icons? I've
checked and I don't have the icons set to auto arrange. I can't even move icons in other folders. -- =========================================================================== Raymond Camden, Vice President of Technology for roundpeg Email : jedimaster@... Re: desktop icons not movingRay, do you mean the icons stick to the mouse and then snap back to
their original position, or they don't even stick to the mouse when you click and drag? First option would indicate a stuck setting or corrupt preference, while the second might indicate a hung process or low memory issue. One way to test for a corrupt preference quickly is to create a temporary new user account and switch to that user. If the problem goes away, it's probably something specific to your account. You could also run Disk Utility to verifiy the HD structure and permissions.
