disable auto-linking?

Is there any way to disable auto-linking?  Sure, it can be nice, but I am a heavy user of Tomboy, and this autolinking stuff has gotten so bad I think I may need to look for something else.  The contents of my notes are constantly changing because I'll create a note and rename it.  Just today, 10 of my notes appeared at the top of the list, meaning they had been updated, and the lone letter "c" (uppercase and lowercase) in certain cases was replaced with "cascade 6.2.1 upgrade," which is a note I've since deleted and now it's all dead links.  I must've waited too long from the time I typed the first c of the note until I typed the rest.  At any rate, this is ridiculous.  I need to disable this auto-linking.  I don't want it.  Not for notes, definitely not for files in my filesystem (something I've never used).  URLs are nice, emails are okay, but I need a way to disable the rest.  I've got so much stuff that's been renamed, some of it's not even readable, and I've got dead links everywhere from where I've cleaned up unused notes.

What's this written in?  C-sharp?  Heck, I've never coded in C-sharp before, it's been years since I've coded in C++, and I'm too busy to mess with this, but somebody point me to the lines where I can disable this stuff and I'll do it until somebody codes a nice little plugin or option to disable this...

Not at this time.

We have high-priority bugs filed about this, but they are not yet
fixed.  I'm sorry to hear about your problems; in most cases it is not
possible to name a note with a single character, so normally the
impact of renaming is not so drastic.  In your case it was clearly
disastrous.  I'm sorry we don't have a fix out yet.

Tomboy/Watchers.cs for the most part.

Feel free to bug me in IRC (#tomboy on GIMPNet) if you need a hand.

You can expect an official fix next cycle, but the stable release for
that won't be out for six months.
