disconnect behavior wrt subscriptions

I'm not sure if this is as much a question about stomp as it is in  
ActiveMQ's implementation. I've noticed that if I create a  
subscription via Stomp, and the subscribing client dies, the  
subscription isn't cancelled. As a result, (from what I can tell),  
AMQ tries to deliver a message to that client and ends up not ever  
being seen by a living subscriber. Is this the desired behavior, or a  
bug? I'm running apache-activemq-4.1.0-incubator.

This is a bug in ActiveMQ 4.1.0...

Its been fixed in trunk and will be included in the next release.
