displaying special characters

hi. I'm having a problem getting things to display properly when there are accents or other special characters.

If I have "carte d'annonce" in my database as a translation, it is displayed as "carte d?annonce".

Also, my base language is spanish.  How should I handle words with accents like  "Título" so that globalize will know that the translated word is "Title".  It's not really viable to use  "Título".t  in my view as far as I can tell.

Thanks for any advice,

Matt

Hi -- Are your database, HTML and HTTP Headers set to the same
character encoding? That seems to be a common problem.
