hi all

the icons control panel offers a double sized pixel icons.

is this feature still needed? i tried it tonight and few if any kde4 apps work
properly with it, and it seems to me that one can simply make the icons ..
well .. bigger?

should this feature remain?

pls CC as i'm not sub'd to this list. thanks =)

-1 vote. It was probably meant as a11y feature, but
a) user can always make icon bigger, without blur
b) if there is still problem, user can use magnifier

So, having fully scalable icons make this option completely obsolete.
In both cases user can get the same size, but with scalable icon
without blur.

Cheers,

The feature was introduced before we had the monochrome SVG icons.
It is has now been obsolete for several years.

ok, since it was broken in so many KDE4 apps and is obsolete, i removed the
option from the KCM (and fixed a layout bug there as an extra bonus! =) as well
as from KIconLoader.

thanks for the feedback.
