Documentation is currently provided with each release, and is also
available in the repository. It is provided in docbook format, and needs
to be compiled to HTML; there are instructions on how to do this on the
wiki.

Yes, as Matthew indicated, the download tar/zip package of Zend
Framework already includes the documentation.  Look under the directory
"<zf-home>/documentation/end-user".  These are rendered as HTML, like
the manual on the website.

We have plans to make the documentation be a separate downloadable
package, but currently it's part of the main download bundle.

You can also check out the sources for the manual from subversion (or
the nightly snapshot).  These are in DocBook XML format and you can
build them yourself using the Makefile provided.  See instructions here:
http://framework.zend.com/wiki/x/1g

Bill Karwin

Is a downloadable compiled version of the reference manual still available?  I couldn't see the link for it.

Regards,
Mark

Yes, it's available -- via the downloads page:

    http://framework.zend.com/download/latest

Please note the "Documentation" column, which has a link to either
download or browse the manual. Clicking "Download" will raise a popup
letting you choose the language and archive type you wish to download.

Yep there it is. I'll go and shoot myself for missing it in a minute. I see it's gone up to 1.8.4 but the API download is at 1.8.3.  Maybe I just need to check again tomorrow.  Thanks and sorry

Hi,

Download for the API documentation is at version 1.8.3 while the reference manual download is at version 1.8.4. Could somebody fix this please?

Regards,

Mark
