I was recently positively surprised to see that the Windows
installer of PostgreSQL offers you the chance to install Drupal as
well.

This honour our CMS and it should be an incentive to avoid to
consider Postgresql as a poster child.

I wonder if any other open source DB comes bundled with Drupal on
Windows.

Which distribution of PostgreSQL?  There seem to be a few.

You could offer one.

It looks like the official one with the installer.

I admit I didn't try to install Drupal on XP.
My interest in PostgreSQL this time was a quick&dirty reporting tool
and I wasn't that willing to see which other packages was going to
install other than Drupal.

I've no personal interest in Drupal on Windows currently... but
still that lower the bar of a lot of people willing to try Drupal on
Windows quite a bit.

Actually the overall installation process of the things I needed was
painless but I didn't try to install Drupal on XP.
If installing Drupal with that bundle is going to be as easy as what
I tried, that package is really going to be a good tool to promote
Drupal... with all the consequences a Drupal/PostgreSQL installation
may imply on a larger scale.
