dvda-author 09.03: questions and issuesHello, I plan to get going again with DVD-A so I grabbed the 09.03 sources and built them on my current Fedora 10 x86_64 box. Some issues and questions: # dvda-author Segmentation fault Why? (cut) ----------------- DVD-A author 09.03 ----------------- Current time is: 10-18-02-39 (cut) Why is the time `wrong`? (cut) Copyrigh Dave Chapman 2005-Fabrice Nicol 2007,2008 <fabnicol@...>-Lee and Tim Feldkamp 2008 (cut) The (C) message does not cope with 80 column screen? GPL text does not wrap at all. (cut) ----------------------------------------------------------------- [INF] Parsing default command line [INF] Running: --debug --pause --rights 0777 [INF] First scan of track list for memory allocation... [PAR] Access rights (octal mode)=777 [PAR] Adding end pause. ----------------------------------------------------------------- dvda-author: invalid option -- '?' dvda-author: invalid option -- '?' ----------------------------------------------------------------- [INF] Parsing user command line [INF] Running: dvda-author -? [INF] First scan of track list for memory allocation... dvda-author: invalid option -- '?' dvda-author: invalid option -- '?' [MSG] Output directory '../output' already created [MSG] Output directory '../output/AUDIO_TS' already created [MSG] Output directory '../output/VIDEO_TS' already created ----------------------------------------------------------------- Segmentation fault (cut) Why so many empty lines? Please keep it more terse. The 08.06 version was a lot cleaner in this respect. Less output and more correct. :-( Also: how do I tell ./configure to use the sox that is on my system and not build it (again)? (the building of sox errors on my system, why?) Could please have the spec file to build our own rpm? What is the currently best tool (for Linux...) to cut WAVs etc into tracks to be used for DVD-A?
