I uploaded a core package emptied out of "external" code (FLAC, ogg and sox code) with a revised building system to the SF file release system.
It should make it easier for porters to integrate to their platform of choice.
This is mentioned in INSTALL, but as I get a lot of questions on this, here it is again: the configure command line is:
./configure
or, if it fails:
./configure --with-flac=full/path/to/libFLAC.so --with-ogg=full/path/to/libogg.so --with-sox=full/path/to/libsox.so
The full package building system has been revised too. In essence, it is a "dev" package, although not labelled as such.
This tarball should be used as a fallback when libraries are not available on the platform.
