dvi to pdf

Hi all!
I created a latex dokument and compiled it to dvi...
I used KDVI to display the output and see the correctnes...Everything was OK
But when I generated pdf out of this dvi document some parts got messed up...
Links in table of contents don't work at all and some of the pictures changed their position in comparison with dvi file...
Any ideas ?
