You will be able to you will be able to do what you are asking for (in your first point) by writing to a table using tablew etc. If you specify a large table with room to spare you can vary the loop points during playback (using tablei etc) at k-rate. There are some examples introducing these techniques on my website under the heading 'live sampling'
I'm not sure I fully understand your second request, can you clarify a bit further please?
