The 1.2 release includes:
- complete rewrite of the calendar, plus new resource booking system
- new projectmanager applications using infolog and calendar data
- syncml to synchronise cell-phones, PDA's and outlook
- workflow application
- and many more ...
The packages for 1.2 are organized a bit different now:
- eGroupWare package contains all stable and maintained applications
- eGroupWare-contrib contains all the other packages (not for rpm)
- eGroupWare-<appname> (rpm only) contains single packages, which
require the eGroupWare or eGroupWare-core package to run
I plan to have 2 more RC's on the next two weeksends and the final
release shortly after the 3. RC. That's the plan ;-)
Unforunally not all planned features have made it in the RC1.
The following features will be included in the next RC:
- Calendar: sheduling of contacts, xmlrpc, handling of groups
- Wiki: Search in SiteMgr
- Manual: Search and links to Startpage of Manual
- new app from Olivier to chat between eGW users
- diverse SiteMgr modules

As we are not able to maintain more then one release/version, please
stop reporting bugs for the 1.0.0 branch. I hope for you understanding.
Please report bugs as usual to the bug-tracker on sf.net
(http://sf.net/projects/egroupware click on bugs) and assign the version
1.2RC1. Please verify your bugs (if possible) on our demo on
egroupware.org, they may be already fixed.
