enV Touch won't sync up!

Phone : enV TOUCH (LG VX11000)

Computer OS : Win XP

Cable : USB Data/Charge Cable that came with phone

BitPim : Version 1.0.6

Hi, my name is Jerry, I have been using BitPim for a while with no problems, then I went and got a new phone, the enV touch.  I have tried to change the BitPim settings to the VX10000 Voyager, VX9900 enV, VX9700 Dare, and the VX9100 enV 2, to no avail.  Each time I have received the same exception message (copied & pasted below).  I know there is probably some stupid little thing that I am not doing that is causing this issue, is there someone that can help me out?  I saw a couple of people that blew their contact lists off of their phone...oh, to be able to get that far...  I emailed in another post already this morning, but forgot to put in a subject, among other things.  I would greatly appreciate anything that might help, my email address is yt1300slf@...
