endnote anchor & cross referencing

The default endnote anchors in my document are superscript. When I
cross-reference an endnote (make another reference to an existing endnote
using 'Insert>Cross reference') the new anchor is inserted as a normal font
instead of superscript and I have to change it manually. Can I change the
settings so that OOo can automatically generate a superscript cross
reference to the endnote.  Thanks in advance.
