Hello,

Im tring to run a client/server application.  Server is on Linux, and client in on z/OS.  Application will run for a couple of seconds, and then will receive the following errors on the server side.

[root@ESA26_37 sles11]# HERESSL_accept() handshake error, dirty.
SSL_ERROR_SSL
ERR_error_string(): error:1408F119:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:decryption failed or bad record mac

NULL connection returned from  secure_accept

conn == NULL from AcceptConnection

openssl version
OpenSSL 0.9.8g 19 Oct 2007

On server start ci = "ALL"
On client side ci = RC4-MD5

Im not using the openssl s_server to start the server, I have my own server application.  Which has worked on older versions of openssl.

At this poing Im only doing software encryption not using the ENGINE operand when starting server.

Im new at this so, I don't know how to collect and error logs, or data, at this time.  Any help in that direction would  be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Joe Tingley
