evince lack an important function: spliting window: just see two different part of the same document.

The function is enable in acrobat 8.0.

Can you think of my advice?

Thanks

I don't mean `open a copy'.
I mean a window splits to two part--up and down, each part can display a different part of the same document.

Thanks

Using the 'open a copy' option you can display different parts of the
same document.

Take into acount that the mission of Evince is not to copy acrobat
reader. By design, Evince uses the Single Document Interface (SDI)
metaphor as stated by the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) [1],
i.e. one window per document.
