Yes. But  you might need to build for  yourself. You can checkout the
code from cvs.gnome.org. The module name is evolution-jescs.

What is the likelihood of an iCal interface to Evo being implemented
any time soon?  Kinda like Sunbird.

In my case, it would be useful to be able to share an Evo-integrated
calendar with my wife.

Certainly, businesses/organizations that don't have (or want to
get rid of) Exchange would find it extremely useful.

Evolution supports read-only access to shared calendars on the web.
The CalDAV support (interface to shared calendars like HULA) in
Evolution is under development and will be available (most likely) by
the next release.

Are there stable linux rpm or tar.gz packages? cvs is
beyond my noob level

Sorry, no rpm nor tar.gz available on the web.  I will send you a tar.gz in a seperate mail.
But if you want to get updated source, I still suggest you to learn how to use cvs.
