flushing nettime-ann down the drain

friends,

if the nettime-ann administration can only be done every fortnight,
you might just as well kill the list altogether - this barrage of
messages from the waiting loop is total nonsense - nobody will want
to look at any of this.

i am the first to understand that the work of going to the list every
other day is a drag, or indeed too much. but then the admins should
say that and step down.

fushing away two weeks worth of content like this cannot be the solution.

I agree with suppressed anger. It is a Magic Mountain tonic to
snarl at list administrators -- the idea they can play loose with
their sanitization obligations is an abomination.

Irate as hell, toward you Obama, stop the smiling, sure that's
okay for a campaign, now take this in your teeth: Gimme what
I want, now! Or get back to lecterning.

Whatever happened to diginified sacrifice by stoning not
ignominously stuffed in van at Dover Air Force Base?

Who is Ann? Flushing may be too gentle.

Hi Andreas,

Your mail made me wonder whether there is anything we can do as  
members of nettime to help the list administrators out...meaning  
rather than asking them to step down, could we perhaps pool our  
efforts to distribute the workload and make the list function better?  
Admin folks, I figure this is an unpaid job, done between other paid  
jobs in stolen hours, so please let us know if we can be of any help :-)

my message was not intended for the nettime list, but was directed at
the admins of the nettime-announcement list; i agree with renee that
maybe a helping hand can be offered. (only, given my work for the
spectre list, i have to bow out.)
