folding Redback into Archiva ?

I'd like to restart an old thread (see

So what do you think about "forking" redback stuff to Archiva svn tree
? (I mean not importing svn history)

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/archiva/redback/redback-components

And changing various namespaces (groupId to org.apache.archiva.redback
and root package too).
BTW I will take about ip clearance.
