This is the first time I have to use rsync, and its man page really makes me

Regarding CVSWEB setup... kindly help..!!

Hi,
I am a Software engineer. I am using CVS as my version control system.
I am using CentOS 5.3.
CVS and apache (httpd) are installed.
I want to setup a web interface for my CVS repositories.
I searched alot on net, but unable to get the working interface. I
have performed the following things on my system as part of setup:
1. Downloaded latest version of cvsweb - cvsweb-3.0.6
I have kept the file " cvsweb.conf " in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ directory
i have kept the file " cvsweb.css " in /etc/httpd/ directory
i have kept the file " cvsweb.cgi " in ~/cbin/cgi-bin/ directory
2. followed the steps mentioned in the INSTALL file.
my local repository is in ~/repo
I edited cvsweb.conf file (a) Path to the local repository (b)
path to the cssurl
i edited cvsweb.cgi file , mentioned about the path to
cvsweb.conf file.( in the 'for' loop )

3. I then tried in the browser as : http://localhost/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi

But no response , error 404, the requested url was not found on this server.
Please help..!! I have to meet the deadline for the work done.

I have attached all 3 files, kindly check them.

Could be http://bugs.debian.org/483442. The related patch can be seen
here:
http://patch-tracking.debian.net/patch/series/view/cvsweb/3:3.0.6-5/10_483442_fix_perl_510_test_failure.

But this is just one possibility.

Hello,

I updated my server that had OpenSuse 9 to OpenSuSE 11. Now browsing
repository file listing gives the error message "Failed to spawn GNU
rlog". I already checked that rcs package is installed in one of the
lookup directories of the command_path array. Running the rlog from the
command line works well. What else could be causing this error message?
