I run a Debian unstable system with kernel 2.6.29-1-686 and an upgrade
last Monday bumped my galeon from 2.0.6-2.1 to 2.0.7-1. Since then my
initial galeon window is usually just over a quarter of my screen size
but occasionally it fills the screen; before then, it always filled
the screen.
I've tried running `galeon --geometry 1200x700' from a terminal (and
with lots of alternatives to 1200 and 700) but always get the same
size screen as without any geometry spec. If someone knows a way to
get a consistent size that's close to full screen (but not as given by
-f, which deletes the top of the window) I'd be very pleased to hear
about it.
Perhaps I should say that I use xfce rather than gnome for my desktop.
And also, since galeon is a gnome browser, that xfce had no problem
with galeon-2.0.6.
Barrie.
