Would authors like to comment what is new and noteworthy in second edition? Or difference between 1st Edition and 2nd Edition? http://groovy.codehaus.org/ It's also included as a PDF in the documentation bundle: http://dist.groovy.codehaus.org/distributions/groovy-docs-1.6.3.zip It's not as high quality as a book like Groovy in Action, but there's like 1200 pages worth of Groovy documentation!
