grace notes and slursI have two notes, an dotted quaver F# and a semiquaver E, with a slur between them. I added a quaver E grace note in front of the F#. So far, so good. Now I want to put a slur between the grace note E and the F#. When I do this, it moves the slur that begins at the F# to begin at the E grace note so that now I have two slurs that begin on the grace note. Is this a bug? I'm using 1.7.3 on F10.
Also is there a way to control the size of the grace notes? They are too big for my taste. I've just upgraded from 1.6.? and this is the first version that I've used where grace note work so I'm not complaining. You might try just starting over and fiddling with it. I can't reproduce this, but I have no doubt you arrived at this situation, and it could be repeated. What I wound up with looks like [result.jpg] Isn't that the sort of thing you're after? Of course the bad news is even if what I've depicted is the sort of solution you're after, it doesn't export to LilyPond properly. If you happen to be able to show me a snippet of this kind of situation in some score for me to try to copy, I'll be happy to piddle and share any findings. It would be easier with a picture of what a real result is supposed to look like. (Unless, of course, I just produced one.) > Also is there a way to control the size of the grace notes? No. -- D.
