for instructions.
Greasemonkey is an addon, specifically an extension, and as such, it can
be uninstalled the same way any extension can (barring the occasional
computer-wide installations, which Greasemonkey would hardly ever be
in). Greasemonkey can also, like all other extensions, be disabled
without uninstalling it (see
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes#Disable_all_extensions
for an example of how to disable all extensions; adapt it accordingly
for just the one).
