gv can not view .ps files generated by GMT programmes

Hi evrybody
   when I run GMT programmes, all the .ps files could not be open,the erro like
this:

Dear johnson smith

 

 There  are two reasons one is that you dont have  gv in your computer or you made the script  properly. so that the ps file may not be created properly

 

please do forward the script so that it can be rectified

johnson thanks! first,

 

I do have gv installed,  my win4gmt was reinstalled after my XP crashed, then it have problems like this. the commands is the lines I used before, they worked well.

pscoast -R110/122/17/24 -JM6i -B2a1 -Ggray -P > yqnsc.ps

 

pscoast -JM6i -W1 -R110/122/17/24 -Df -Ggray -P -B2 > try.ps

 

and so on. I think is the installation, maybe some files were not correctly put into the correct directory.
