GNU hello 2.4 is now available. The main change is to update the
documentation license to FDLv1.3 or later (see
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html). The usual array of
infrastructure and translation files were also updated. Finally, 2.4
has one actual bug fix: the last greeting-specification option now wins.

GNU Hello is written in C and is intended mainly to exemplify GNU
packaging conventions. The GNU Gettext distribution contains hello,
world programs in many other languages (also showing how to use
Gettext):
